The South Washington Watershed District is excited to announce the selection of Taylor Mills as its Artist in Residence 2025.
SWWD is honored to host another artist through its Artist in Residence program. Mills was selected from a robust applicant pool of area artists due to her unique ability to tell a story and create an emotional connection to her subject. As an aerial photographer and videographer, Mills’ work takes to the skies, bringing a brand new perspective to her work. Taylor will officially begin in May 2025.

Taylor Mills is a Minnesota-born video, photo, and drone professional who discovered her love of cinematic storytelling at a young age. After completing her BA in Filmmaking at the University of Winnipeg, her career has blossomed into nearly a decade of photo and video experience alongside 5 years as a certified drone operator. She works under her freelance media company, T Mills Films, and serves as a board member for Minnesota Women in Film and TV. While she enjoys capturing scenes from around the world, she especially loves highlighting Minnesota’s natural beauty.
